On behalf of Regis College welcome to our web-site. It contains information for both current and prospective students: academic programs, important dates, faculty and staff information, photos, policies and procedures. For those just discovering Regis, you will find a brief history and our hopes for the future.
Regis is a Roman Catholic college in the Jesuit tradition. The English-speaking Jesuits of Canada founded the College over eighty years ago. The College belongs to a world-wide network of Jesuit institutions of higher education. It is this distinctively Jesuit heritage, shaped by the vision of St. Ignatius of Loyola, that permeates all our efforts.
Regis is a Federated College of the University of Toronto, and a founding member of the ecumenical Toronto School of Theology, We are wholeheartedly committed to critical dialogue with other religious traditions and to the steadfast pursuit of academic excellence in all matters. Several of our degrees are offered conjointly with the University of Toronto through the Toronto School of Theology (M.T.S., M.A. in M.S., M.Div., Th.M., Th.D., D.Min.). We are also one of North America's ecclesiastical faculties and, accordingly, offer an array of internationally recognized degrees (S.T.B., S.T.L., S.T.D.).
The College's Mission is the personal growth, faith development, academic excellence and community involvement of all our students. We want to be a place of genuine community and to share our vibrant liturgical life beyond the borders of our own school. We are committed to a faith that does justice in the world and this spirit penetrates both our courses and our community life.

With best wishes,
Jack Costello SJ
