2012-2013 St. John's Bible Traveling Program Features the Gospels and Acts Volume

The 2012-2013 Regis College St. John's Bible Traveling Program will feature the Gospels and Acts Volume of this rare, fine art quality facsimile edition of the first manuscript presentation of the complete Christian Scripture to be scribed and illuminated by hand in over 500 years.

The Gospels and Acts volume will be the first volume of the New Testament to be received by Regis College. Gospels and Acts joins its five Old Testament siblings to wait for the arrival of Letters and Revelation volume, the final volume of the seven volume set, which is expected in the spring of 2013.

The 2012-2013 Traveling Program will again feature educational and faith formation programing presented by Regis College professors and students. For more information, please contact Gordon Rixon, S.J., Dean of Regis College, by emailing gordon.rixon@utoronto.ca or calling 416-922-5474 x225.

Since its inception in March 2010, the Traveling Program has visited over 80 parishes, universities, schools, retreat centres and other groups. More than 10,000 people have encountered the Old Testament volumes and delighted in the prayerful turning of its hand-crafted pages.
