Preparations for Regis College's Official Opening Ceremonies - Updated 20 February 2010
The students, faculty, staff and governors of Regis College are looking forward to the grand opening that will celebrate the completion of our new home. Among the celebratory events being planned for April 28 to June 9th are a leture series entitlted "Word Beyond Image and Text: 'Sensus Plenior' in the Contemplation of Scripture," a special convocation to honour Abbott John Klassen of St. John's Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota, the reception of a Heritage Edition of the St. John's Bible donated by George and Gloria Allen of St. Paul, Minnesota, a seminar and lecture by Mario Botta of Lugano, Switzerland, and architectural tours for members of the public.
