In All Things Open Photography Exhibition: Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival
Regis College will be holding a special photography exhibition featuring photgraphs taken by fellow Jesuits Marc Aristotle K. de Asis, S.J.; Gilles Mongeau, S.J.; Trevor E. Scott, S.J.; and Teo C. Ugaban, S.J. This specifically Jesuit photo display is part of the 17th annual Contact Festival that is being held throughout Toronto.
The Jesuit show at Regis College is entitled "In All things". An important aspect of Jesuit spirituality is that of seeing God in all things. The photos on display at Regis College will include both nature and abstract photos that are both the fruit of and a call to the contemplative goal of seeing God in all things.
The exhibition runs from May 10-26, 2012. It opens on May 10th beginning at 7:00pm and ends at 9:00pm. The hours for the exhibition on the following days of the event are scheduled as follows: Thursdays and Fridays, 5-9pm, Saturdays 12-5pm.
This exhibition is free and open to the public.
Regis College is located at 100 Wellesley Street West, Toronto, near the corner of Queen's Park Crescent East. Regis College is on the 94 Wellesley TTC bus route and a short walk (south) from the Museum subway station. Public parking is available in the University of St. Michael's College parking lot on St. Joseph Street, one block north of Regis College. The venue is accessible.
Regis College is the Jesuit School of Theology at the University of Toronto and a Founding Member of the Toronto School of Theology.
Members of the public interested in theological education are invited to attend an open house in October and March each year.
