On Thursday May 27th at 4:00 pm in St. Jospeh Chapel, Regis College will conduct a special spring convocation to recognize the contributions of Sr. Eileen Schuller, o.s.u. and Abbott John Klassen, O.S.B. to the study and veneration of Sacred Scripture.

Sr. Eileen Schuller teaches in the religious studies department of McMaster University and is well known for her research on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Sr. Eileen is the presenter of the 2010 Spring Chancellor's Lecture at Regis College.

Abbott John Klassen is the ordinary of St. John's Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota, a Benedictine monastic community which is long known for its leadership in liturgical renewal and, more recently, for the creation of the St. John's Bible, the first complete manuscript edition of the Christian Sacred Scriptures to be scribed and illuminated by hand in over 500 years.

All are welcome. Seating is limited.
