Luis Arriaga is a Jesuit priest and a lawyer. He is the director of the highly reputed Cenrto Pro for Human rights in Mexico City.

Centro Pro is a research, documentation and advocacy centre working on behalf of victims of violence and towards genuine justice and peace in Mexico.

Luis Arriaga and members of the Centro Pro staff are frequent witnesses at various UN Committees and at the Inter-American Commission for Human Rights.
