J. Michael Stebbins Presents Fifth Annual Lonergan Lecture

Professor J. Michael Stebbins, PhD will present the Fifth Annual Lonergan Lecture entitled "From the Academy to the Marketplace of Ideas: Making Lonergan Accessible." The lecture will be presented on Friday November 2, 2007, 7:30 pm, at Elliott MacGuigan Hall, 67 St. Nicholas Street.

Professor Stebbins received his doctorate in theology from Boston College in 1991, concentrating in the areas of systematic theology and ethics. From 1994 to 2000 he served as a Senior Fellow at the Woodstock Theological Centre at Georgetown University and directed the Arrupe Program in Social Ethics for Business. Since 2000 he has been Director of the Gongaga Institute of Ethics.
