Integration for Ministry (I.F.M.)
MISSION
The Integration for Ministry Diplomas at Regis College are an invitation to expand one's social and spiritual vision in an atmosphere that is deeply Catholic and widely ecumenical, involving men and women from a variety of cultures and ministerial experiences.
These diplomas are built on the belief that the cultural crisis of our time is planetary in proportion and spiritual in essence, calling for re-imagining community, spiritual and societal structures. To be able to reflect theologically on these realities in the light of Christian faith, to discover the creative action of God in one's own life and in human efforts that promote personal and social transformation, and to respond pastorally in terms of the lives of ordinary people, these are the challenges for every dimension of ministry in the Church today.
The Integration for Ministry Diplomas are designed for men and women experienced in a wide variety of ministries, both within the Church and the community.
The IFM diplomas include an in-depth program of academic studies, pastoral activities and theological reflection seminars.
Students are encouraged to participate in spiritual direction and in opportunities for personal enrichment.
These diplomas can be pursued on a full- or part-time basis.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Fufil Minimum Requirements for Diploma Programs.
- Five years of ministerial service (only for the DST and DTS).
- Two referee evaluation forms.
- A self-evaluation form.
- A statement of intent.
- An admission interview.
