Nineteen new study carrels will be assigned for Regis College doctoral students beginning in January. Each of the carrels has lockable storage for books and laptop, power outlets, a reading lamp and 1 gigabyte network access connected directly to the University of Toronto fiber backbone. Wireless network access is also available. Nearby are comfortable chairs with reading lamps. Grouped in an attractive study area secured by swipe card access, the carrels promise to enhance graduate student life at Regis College. For information about reserving a carrel, Regis College doctoral students should contact the library circulation desk between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
