Regis Professors Maureen McDonnell, Gilles Mongeau and Gordon Rixon joined colleagues from the Toronto School of Theology and curatorial staff and consultants of the Art Gallery of Ontario to reflect about the spiritual and mystical dimensions of late 19th century and early 20th century landscapes. The conversation drew out interesting interchanges about how the different interpretations of experience differentiate and interrelate the expansive range of art appreciation. Each of the disciplines and religious traditions represented brought an unique perspective and offered an opporunity and stimulus for greater integration. After a pleasant lunch and a delightful conversation, everyone left the gallery looking forward to continued conversation.
