Geoff Pevere, movie critic for the Toronto Star and co-host of Reel to Real on Rogers Television, is a graduate of Carleton University’s Film Studies program. He has been movie critic, programmer, pop culture analyst, host for TV Ontario and movie critic on CTV’s Canada AM. In 1995 he wrote an extended critical introduction to the published screenplay of Atom Egoyan’s Exotica, and in 1996, in collaboration with Greig Dymond, he wrote the best selling Mondo Canuck: A Canadian Pop Culture Odyssey. Team Spirit, a book of the history of Roots was released in 1998. Geoff has taught courses in film and writing at Carleton University, York University, the University of Toronto, George Brown College and the Sheridan College Institute of Technology.
