Regis College Announces New ThD and ThM Awards for Qualified Incoming Students

Regis College will offer increased financial support for students admitted to its Doctoral of Theology (ThD) and Master of Theology (ThM) programs in the fall of 2013. The new level of support for the ThD program invites incoming full-time students who qualify for Ontario Student Opporunity Trust Fund awards to apply for up to $7,500 per year for four years; similarly qualified incoming full-time ThM students may apply for up to $4,000 per year for two years. The new bursary awards reflect Regis College's commitment to advancing theological research at the service of faith communities in Canada.

To qualify for OSTOF awards students must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants and resident in Ontario for at least one year on the date of application. Canadian citizens and landed immigrants who are not Ontario residents will be considered for a similar level of assistance as other sources of funding allow. Regis College is the Jesuit School of Theology at the University of Toronto and a Founding Member of the Toronto School of Theology.

Members of the public interested in theological education are invited to attend an open house in October and March each year.
