Short Term Loan items (also called "reserves") are high-demand items, usually required readings for current courses. The Short Term Loan area is located behind the Circulation Desk.

A binder at the Regis Circulation Desk contains printed lists filed by course number.
All Short Term Loan items must be signed out at the Circulation Desk.
Normally only two Short Term Loan items may be borrowed at the same time.
The majority of Short Term Loan items in Regis College Library circulate for two hours. These items are indicated by green tape on the spines. When it is two hours or less to closing time these two-hour loan items can be signed out until the next open day. They are due at 9:45 a.m. when the next open day is a weekday or 12:15 p.m. when it is a Saturday.
Some items circulate for other periods such as 5 days or 7 days.
There are no holds on Short Term Loan items.
There are no renewals on Short Term Loan items.
Fines:
$.50 per hour. The hourly fine applies to all short term loans, including 7 day loans. The hourly fine is applied after a fifteen minute grace period. Please return short term loan items directly to the Library staff member on duty at Circulation and not through the book drop slot.
