Giving to Regis
For more than 75 years Regis has educated people for ministry in the Church. Regis enjoys an enviable reputation on the University of Toronto campus as a place of genuine community and caring, and we share a vibrant liturgical life that reaches well beyond the borders of our own school.
The proven excellence of Regis College professors attracts the largest student body of cross-denominational students of all TST colleges. Over 60% of the students taught at Regis are from outside the College and one fourth of the teaching in TST is done at Regis. The excellence of the Regis faculty is found in many theological disciplines from Scriptural Studies, Moral and Pastoral Theology to Spirituality.

Today, the majority of Regis students are lay people preparing for ministry around the world. With over 200 students from 23 nations, Regis offers Advanced Degree programmes, whether at the Doctoral or Masters level, that enable students to become scholars, teachers and ministers who will advance theological knowledge and pastoral skills. Basic degree programs, all at the Masters level, enable students to acquire the basic building blocks for theologically informed ministry.
Regis graduates are uniquely prepared to face the challenges of today’s Church. They find God’s work to do in all parts of society and in all parts of the world. They are guides in tomorrow’s Church as chaplains, teachers, consultants, scholars, authors and parish ministers.
Indeed, Regis’ roots lie in the early acts of generosity of those who have supported the College in the past so that it may continue to have a promising future. That tradition of giving, which continues to today, has made a profound and lasting contribution to Regis' reputation.
Because tuition alone does not cover the depth and breadth of Regis' high quality of theological education, your gift is essential to continue to provide the resources the College needs to ensure the highest standards in programs, facilities, faculty, and student aid. The contributions of each alumnus/a, parent and friend go a long way toward ensuring that Regis’ standards only improve with each successive year.
