Career Services
Started in April 2007, the College hopes to offer assistance, if at all possible, to students in their job or voluntary work search. A Career Services binder with the following information has been placed permanently in the Student Lounge:
• A database of organizations which might, or had in the past, posted job vacancies at Regis College
• Job postings received by the College
• Information brochures/guidelines relevant to job application
Students are welcome to inform the Student Services Office if they know of any potential job opportunities for your fellow students.
All are welcome to attend our Career Planning and Work Search Strategies Workshop: Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 3-4:30 pm – to be presented by career counselors from the University of Toronto at Regis College

The UTSU (University of Toronto Student Union) Health & Dental Plan was designed by students for students. It is compulsory for all full-time students and is intended to cover expenses not covered by your basic provincial health plan - prescription drugs, health practitioners, medical equipment, etc. Studentcare.net is the largest and most experienced provider of student health plans in Canada.

This plan covers an eligible student for the full 12-month period beginning September 1 to August 31. The cost of this plan is IN ADDITION to the UofT incidental fees and the UHIP fees charged to students with study permits. There is no refund if service is not used during the year.
If you are covered under another health plan and wish to opt out of the UTSU plan, you may do so during the first month of classes. However, you must provide evidence of coverage under another plan (i.e., current policy or membership card clearly indicating the name of the insurer and the policy number). Forms for this purpose are available from the UTSU office, 12 Hart House Circle. Consult the UTSU website for more information about opting out.
