AD Request for Extension to Complete Course
Professors may grant extensions to individual students allowing them to submit work by a specified date after the prima facie deadline. Individual extensions cannot be granted beyond the end of the academic year (i.e., beyond the end of August). The TST AD Director can grant an extension beyond August 31 up to the absolute deadline on the recommendation of the faculty member and the chair of the student’s supervisory committee. To request an extension, a student needs to complete and submit the Request for Coursework Extension Form.
AD Request for Extension to Complete Program
Students wishing to register beyond the sixth year of their program are required to submit this form at least three months prior to the beginning of the next session. Extensions requests can be granted twice, each time with a maximum of one calendar year.
AD Request for Leave of Absence
Leave of absence is not recommended by the College unless under extenuating circumstances. Complete and forward to Registrar's Office. Attach a doctor's note if requesting for a sick leave.
Audited Courses for AD Students
Complete and forward to the Registrar's Office prior to the first class meeting and after completion of the course, with required signatures as specified on the form.
ThD/PhD Request for 1st Extension to Complete Comprehensive Exam
Doctoral students not able to complete their Comprehensives within three years from their date of admission to the program are required to complete this form. Students are recommended to submit this request at least three months prior to expiry of the 3-year period.
THD/PhD Request for 2nd Extension to Complete Comprehensive Exam
A second extension may be granted. Students are recommended to submit this request at least three months prior to expiry of the 1st Comprehensive Extension due date.
