Regis Professor Michael Stoeber will present a paper titled "Reflections on Processes and Issues of Contemplative Meditation" for the Philosophy of Religion and Mysticism Conference. This conference will be hosted by the Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Sciences, May 22-24, in Moscow. Organized by Drs. Vladimir Shokhin and Kirill Karpov, this conference will bring together Russian and English-speaking Western scholars to discuss mysticism and mystical experience. It is part of the the Ratio Project for the promotion of philosophy and theology in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, which is a three year program that is administered through the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota, USA) and funded by the John Templeton Foundation (http://www.stthomas.edu/ratio/conferenceonmysticism/).
