Summer Student Position in Regis College Library

Regis College Library will be hiring 1 summer student under the Summer Jobs Service program administered by Youth Employment Services. Youth Employment Services is a provincial government program.

The incumbent will assist library users by performing circulation transactions, answering elementary reference questions and by re-cataloguing items from the card catalogue to the online catalogue.
Eligible applicants must be:

• 15-24 years of age
• Planning to return to school in the fall
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Able to work till 7 p.m. The schedule is somewhat negotiable but evening hours will be expected during May and June
• Able to work for 16 weeks. The position will start approximately May 14 and end approximately August 30.
• candidates with postsecondary education are preferred.
