School Sisters of Notre Dame Announce Gift

The Responsible Stewardship Committee of the School Sisters of Notre Dame has announced the donation to Regis College of an award of $5,000 for five years to support an international student pursuing doctoral studies at Regis College.

The School Sisters of Notre Dame is an international community of vowed women religious in mission. The Sisters were founded in 1833 under the leadership of Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger in Bavaria. Mother Caroline Friess established their Canadian Province in 1871. Their charism is to empower women, children and persons who are poor through education understood in the broadest sense of the word.

The faculty and students of Regis College express their gratitude for the support and collaboration of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
