Maureen McDonnell Appointed to Position in Pastoral Theology

Regis College is delighted to announce that Dr. Maureen McDonnell, D.Min., will join the permanent faculty of Regis College as an Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology in July 2007.

Faculty, students and many alumni/ae already know Maureen from her classroom role in our Diploma in Spiritual Direction and Integration for Ministry (IFM) programs. She brings wisdom to the classroom and grace to all those she encounters. Maureen’s expertise in the process of supervision in ministry will add a rich new dimension to our academic community. We look forward to her contribution to the excellence of all our programs.

Starting in September, Maureen will offer four courses each year. In her first year, she plans to teach “RGP1621HF - Introduction to Ministry,” “RGP3227HF - Foundations of Religious Experience” and “RGP6/3661HY - Practicum in Spiritual Direction.” She will also offer a new course entitled "Prayer and Spirituality: Encountering the Holy." Please do not hesitate to contact the Registrar’s Office, if you have any questions about Maureen’s course offerings or any of the programs at Regis College.

Faculty, students, alumni/ae and other friends of Regis College are invited to an afternoon reception to welcome Maureen to her new role on Thursday June 14th at 3:30 pm in the student lounge. If you are able to attend, please advise Janice, at the Regis Reception, 416-922-5474, by June 12th.
