Regis Responds to 21st Century Atheism

"Responding to Atheism in the 21st Century" has gone viral. After a news story on the Regis College Windows on Theology course published in the Religious News Service was picked up by the Washington Post, interest in this innovative educational initiative has grown exponentially. Already a remarkable success, attracting the largest single course enrolment in the college's history, Regis has responded to the surge of interest by scheduling a one day seminar version of the course in April. When asked about the mounting interest, Dean Gordon Rixon, S.J. remarked: "As part of the University of Toronto, Regis is committed to engage important topics of contemporary interest. This is a place where we promote a Catholic vision of faith that thinks critically, advocates justice and appreciates beauty. We are delighted in the interest and opportunity to dialogue with others."

Regis College is the Jesuit School of Theology at the University of Toronto and a Founding Member of the Toronto School of Theology.

Members of the public interested in theological education are invited to attend an open house in October and March each year.
